Friends

Friendship is so imporant in children. Laughter is a part of developing their personality. Children that have friends develop more self esteem. It teaches them how to share and relate to others their age. When a child hangs out only with grown ups they start to act like that. They need the freedom to act like a child.

Lilly has been home with Dad all week cause his shift is in the evening so he is home during the day. She has not been at daycare except one day. The day Jeromy brought her daycare she couldn't wait to go she went running to get her coat on and said lets go to daycare! They got to daycare and Lilly barely got her boots off and she went running to go play with her cousins. I would love to keep her home all the time, but I think she really enjoys being with other kids and she needs that. She is a very social child.

When she heard her cousins were coming over she was more than excited. She had so much fun playing with them.

Favorite time of the Year

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and its even more enjoyable with a child. We went out and looked at Christmas lights around town this year and Lilly was so fascinated. Whenever we go to Walmart she sees the huge christmas tree inside the door and just stares and then proceeds to touch it and look in the balls and sees herself. Lilly and I went to my moms and baked cookies. She really enjoyed putting sprinkles on and touching each one and then licking her fingers. We had a great Christmas with both families and ate some yummy food. We did not make it to church on Christmas this year which makes me sad. I am hoping next year and I want Lilly to be in the Christmas program. I had so much fun doing that as a kid!
