We woke up Sunday morning and left for the Mall of America at 9:30. Our day started with Undewater World. Lilly really like it. There was a jungle gym at the end that she seemed to like even more. Then we ate at Mcdonalds in the Mall as she was very hungry. Next she went on 2 rides and that was it. Last of all she got to meet Spongebob and get pictures taken. We spent the rest of the day in the car and playing outside when we got home. It was a great day!

Liily got her hair cut at Lords of Mi Lady by Martha. She was such a good girl she got to have a sucker and she made sure it was blue. I think that may be her favorite color. Martha took about 2 inches off. Thinking about doing bangs - not sure.

The Pool

Daycare took Lilly swimming at the Americinn and she hasn't stopped asking to go again so, Jeromy and I took her on Monday and she just loved it. She did not want to get out of the pool and wanted to be in the hot tub cause she said the big pool was to cold. Lilly had fun talking to all the people in the pool. Can't wait to put her in swimming lessons this summer. She will love it.

Grandparents

I think grandparents are very special. I have one left. My Grandma Mach and I don't get to see her much cause she lives far away. I think its very important that Lilly sees her grandparents. I usually go out to my parents every other Saturday to visit. She really enjoys spending time with them playing kitchen, dolls, reading, cuddling, etc.

Friends

Friendship is so imporant in children. Laughter is a part of developing their personality. Children that have friends develop more self esteem. It teaches them how to share and relate to others their age. When a child hangs out only with grown ups they start to act like that. They need the freedom to act like a child.



Lilly has been home with Dad all week cause his shift is in the evening so he is home during the day. She has not been at daycare except one day. The day Jeromy brought her daycare she couldn't wait to go she went running to get her coat on and said lets go to daycare! They got to daycare and Lilly barely got her boots off and she went running to go play with her cousins. I would love to keep her home all the time, but I think she really enjoys being with other kids and she needs that. She is a very social child.

When she heard her cousins were coming over she was more than excited. She had so much fun playing with them.

Lilly's 2nd. Birthday

We celebrated Lilly's 2nd. Birthday today. Her birthday was on January 2, but Jeromy had to work that day and today worked for everyone. Lilly had alot of fun. We had barbeques, taco salad, hotdish, chips, cake, icecream, brownies, and juice. Everyone ate then we had icecream and openend gifts next. The theme was Dora the Explorer and a good portion of her gifts were Dora. She played all day with her new toys and tomorrow we are going to get pictures done at Target.
